Where AI does the work, and where it never does.
The short version
Listthru uses AI for one job: reading your listing photos so each one can be labeled by room and put in walkthrough order. It never creates, adds to or changes an image. Every frame of every video is one of your own photos, and nothing renders until you have checked and confirmed the order.
Where AI is used in the app
- Room labeling. Each photo is sent to a third-party AI model, Claude by Anthropic, PBC, which returns the room type, whether the shot is an exterior, a quality score and whether it is a strong closing view.
- Suggested order. Those labels are used to suggest a walkthrough order and to flag near-duplicate photos. You can reorder, rename, restore or delete any shot.
What AI is never used for
- Generating, editing or enhancing images or video. The motion in a video is a pan or zoom across your real photo.
- Virtual staging, adding or removing furniture, changing views, skies, lawns or anything else that would misrepresent a property.
- Writing listing descriptions or making claims about a property.
- Writing, inventing or incentivizing reviews or testimonials.
- Producing statistics about views, leads or sales.
- Generating anyone's likeness or voice.
- Making decisions about a person that carry a legal or similarly significant effect.
Your photos and the AI provider
The app will ask your permission before it sends any photos for labeling, and you can turn labeling off and order shots yourself. Location data is removed from photos on your phone before upload. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, photos sent through its API are not used to train its models. Waitlist email addresses are never sent to any AI system.
Where AI was used on this website
- The copy and code of this site were drafted with AI assistance, and a person reviewed and approved them.
- The floor plan, file names and shot lists are illustrative samples drawn in code, not generated images.
- The example walkthrough video was edited by hand by Sun Coast Digital Media from a property's real listing photos, shown with the owner's permission. Nothing in it was generated by AI.
A person is accountable
